There are currenlty no logon servers available to service logon request.

We are getting this message when trying to access shrares on some of our
servers thourgh a trust. It is not happening all the time, although most,
and is only hapeing to certain servers.

I am guessing it is happening because remote server cannot authenticate to
trusted domain controller due to name resolution, security policy or some
other reason. How can I find out why this is happeing and how to fix it?

Thanks. Windows 2003 and Windows 2008 domain controllers. Primary is a
2008 r2 but i think this was happeing before that was in place at times.

Hello 2010,

I believe you have posted 3 or 4 times regarding this issue. I saw that you
responded once to Marcin's response. I have posted responses as well in the
DNS newsgroup with an elaborate explanation of resolution, including group
nesting between the two trusts, as well as WINS replication.

We are trying to help, so I am not really sure if you are able to find the
posts or you are finding the suggestions not helpful. I have a feeling that
you may be having difficulty finding all of the responses using the
web-based method to access the newsgroups that you are currently using. If I
may suggest, to use Outlook Express to access the newsgroups. This way you
have direct access to the groups, as well as the ability to 'watch' the
threads you post and you can immediately see when a response shows up when
the watched thread turns red.

If you are unable to find the response, I will be glad to re-post it.
