Please Please Please someone help me. I am having no end of problems with
Symantec Continuous Protection deleting snapshots when it shouldnt. I have
been told by Symantec several times now that its not their issue and I should
speak to Microsoft at a further cost to my company.
Bearing in mind the max limit for shadow copies is 64 and I have 13
currently showing in both CPS and vssadmin. I get this error 'The oldest
shadow copy of volume R: was deleted to keep the total number of shadow
copies of volume R: below a limit.' I have searched for this error and
cannot find anything. Can anyone help?

Symantec Server Windows Server Hello, I am running ISA 2004 on a Windows2003 server. Also installed on the same server is Symantec System Center and Symantec Group Server. with the ISA 2004 service running, no symantec clients (ver 9) can contact the Symantec Group server to update their definitions. With the ISA Server service stopped, all symantec clients can contact the Symantec Group Server fine and update no problems. Is there a specific configuration i need to make so that ISA2004 will allow the Symantec clients to contact and update from the Group Server. Thanks for any help, Mike ISA
