Windows Server - Windows Server 2003 Shutdown Event Tracker

Asked By atharsagr

Dear Experts,

We were using Windows 2000 Adv server SP4 and we use to restart the server
ever morning by a shutdown utility (shutdown -r). It was working fine and
users were getting the fresh server every morning.

Since we shifted to Windows Server 2003, this utility is not working due to
the shutdown event tracker module. It prompts for the reason for the restart
of the server. We want to avoid this so as our server restarts every morning
as earlier.

Any help guidence will be highly appreciated.
Thanks.
