Asked By jdc

I have configured my Server. Now when I send a message it get's stuck in the
Outgoing SMTP queue. in SBS2003, there is a setting in the SMTP properties
for "always Run", but I cannot find whee to edit SMTP connector properties
(OR POP3 Connector Properties, for that matter) in the 2008 Exchange System
Manager. Please advise where to fins these settings or other advice.

Thanks

Are you sending out Via SMTP or DNS?

I believe i saw a setting for domain DNS in the hub transport, or something
like that. I am installing over again to get a clean installation and apply
the various changes I found I needed after the first try. Isn't there istill
a schedule setting for outgoing SMTP?

Also .. How do I access OWA from the SBS server? localhost/exchange did not
work.

OWA is at: https://remote.publicdomain.com/owaSBS 2k8 uses split DNS.--Charlie.

Hello,

Thanks for your post and others' suggestions.

In addition, if it is the first time you begin to configure Email system in
SBS 2008, please check the below TechNet articles when you have time:

Configure the server to send and receive Exchange Server e-mail over the
Internet
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc794268(WS.10).aspx

Configuring Internet Mail in Windows Small Business Server 2008

Hope this helps. Also, if you have any questions or concerns, please do not
hesitate to let me know..
