Windows Server - Cannot start SBS Web Applications

2008 SBS Server Migrated from 2003 SBS Server
SBS Web Applications will not start, "This website cannot be started.
Another web site may be using the same port"
Goal: get OWA working without needed to trick IIS
This problem has been ongoing since the install of 2008 SBS server.
Currently IIS will not automatically start SBS Web Applications due to the
Default Web Site and SBS Web Applications using the same HTTPS bindings. The
only way I have managed to get them to work is change the bindings to 444,
start it, then change it back to 443. This only works until IIS is restarted
or the server reboots. I would like to come to a permanent solution. I have
tried various methods found in other news post searching Google but none of
them come to a resolution and no steps have proven helpful.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

What did you change on the Default Website? OOB, the Default Website is
not using 443.

Hi Louis,
Thanks for your post and Steve's input.
I am with Steve that it seems there was something wrong with the configuration of the Default Web Site. Default Web Site should only use 80 port. The by default IIS 7.0
settings of their "Site Bindings" should like below:
[Default Web Site]
Type: IP address: Port: Host name:
1. http All Unassigned 80 <blank>
[SBS Web Applications]
Type: IP address: Port: Host name:
1. http All Unassigned 80 Sites
2. http All Unassigned 80 remote.sbsname.com
3. https All Unassigned 443 <blank>
SSL certificate: remote.sbsname.com
Please have a check. Stop the Default Website, delete the 443 binding from its properties.
Hope this helps. Also, if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to let me know.
Best regards,

That did it. Maybe something got migrated over from the old server. New
client, might have missed something when going over their old config.
Thanks for everyone's help.

Re-installation of RPC HTTP proxy feature leads to big problem in Windows Server SBS 2008, being the odd duck that it is, moves certain virtual directories from the Default Web Now, if the RPC HTTP proxy feature is removed and then added again in SBS 2008 using Windows Server Manager (which the last time I looked was part of SBS 2008), the RPC and RPCwithCert vdirs are put in the Default Web Site and Outlook Anywhere installation is broken. I have examined the script in the CAS role repair of Exchange Server (SBS version) and do not see how the RPC and RPCwithCert vdirs are being moved

Overriding default SBS 2008 policies Windows Server We have an SBS 2008 located at one site of a multi-site network connected via site-to-site VPN tunnels. I added a group policy that explicitly allowed Remote Desktop through the Windows firewall for the three subnets involved. However, the SBS 2008 canned Windows XP Policy lists me from making RDP connections across the VPN. I edited the canned policy directly to substitute my own preferences, but will SBS 2008 erase that the next time a wizard is run? Could I get the desired effect
