Windows Server 2003? I know there info about configuring DNS and Global

Hello,
all servers and station in the domain must have the DC as primary dns
server.
You may sync the DC time to internet, so all your domain will have the good
time.
You may set up GPO to apply policies on wrokstation & server.
DHCP may be useful for workstation
You would backup this server everyday or so.

Yes, because it is so difficult to get DNS correctly configured otherwise.
Or more precisely, it is much easier to get it incorrectly configured.
