Mixed cluster OS w/storage server?

Hello,

We are running into an issue with our 2 node file server cluster and im
looking at rebuilding both nodes. Both nodes are currently running windows
server enterprise 2003 r2 sp2 and I would like to upgrade both nodes to
storage server 2003 x64 r2 (hardware came OEm with storage server but we had
to run with Enterprise due to issues wtih EMC disk extender). Is it possible
to run a cluster with that type of mixed OS's?

ie node 1: windows server 2003 enterprise r2 x86
node 2: windows server 2003 storage server r2 x64

I have read that windows 2000 is supported with 2003 while you are rebuilding
but I was unable to find any documentation with regards to storage server.

Thanks.

Storage server does not support failover clustering.

Storage server does not support failover clustering. Only Enterprise and
Datacenter version of Windows support failover clusters.

You cannot mix 32-bit and 64-bit O/S in the same cluster. MSCS will not
allow it.

John
