Windows Server - NLB NIC Bind Order?

What should be the NIC bind order on my Windows 2003 NLB cluster?  Should it
be public NIC first or NLB NIC first?

The NLB NIC does not have a Default Gateway or DNS IP's configured.

I think you are confused. The NLB NIC is the Public NIC. All clients access
the NLB cluster through the NLB NIC.

Thanks for the quick response.  I believe I'm confusing my cluster terms.

Here what I have.  A NLB cluster running Exchange 2003, and they are our
bridgehead servers.   So all incoming and outgoing email goes through these
two.

All incoming traffic comes through the NLB NIC of course.  Would all
outgoing traffic (email) go through the NLB (or atempt to) if it was first in
the bind order?

And if so, should I populate the DNS settings on the NLB NIC?  Right now the
default gateway and dns/wins settings are blank.
