Windows Server - GPResult Question

Earlier this year, we upgraded our DC's and forest to 2008 (from '03).
Recently, when I ran a "gpresult" against a machine I noticed that the Domain
Type said "Windows 2000". Is this a fluke or did something go wrong with our
domain upgrade?

As far as I know, it does not tell the domain type correctly. You need to
look at "Active Directory Users and Computers" and check the domain
functional level there. It reads the correct type from the database.
