I have no idea what I am doing. I instaled windows xp I was told that it
would automaticaly remove windows 2000 from my computer. It didn't. I want to
keep windows xp and get rid of windows 2000 because I don't have enough
memory now to play a game I bought, and that is the hole reason I got windows
xp.SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP.

That all depends on how you installed Windows XP. Did you install
Windows XP in a separate partition or did you "upgrade Windows 2000 to
XP pro? Can you still boot Windows 2000? Do you have any thing that
you want to keep on the computer?

If you didn't have enough memory (RAM) to play the game with Windows
2000 then installing Windows XP will not make more memory available to
the game, it anything you will have less available for the game,
espcially if all the XP "Eye Candy" is turned on! Instead of wasting
money on Windows XP you should have bought more RAM for the computer.

Further to John's excellent reply: Having both Win2000 and WinXP
installed on your machine means this:

- It consumes more disk space.
- It makes no difference whatsoever to the amount of memory
available to your games.

If you need more memory then you must buy more RAM chips.

Source Code Windows Server Here is an article about how the NT source code was leaked and apparently will it be before Microsoft has new operating systems with new source code. Wikipedia mentions Windows 7 will use the Windows NT source code much to my dismay.
