Windows Server - Works 9 word processor

I am unable to open or create a new wps files, I receive "cannot access one
or more files it needs to run word processor, it has been moved, renamed or
deleted. What is the fix? Thanks

Have you tried re-installing Works 9 to reset all the links to defaults?

I've installed Works 6-9 compabitility pack using gp but it didn't register .wps as a extension which can be open with Word. Is there any way to automatically associate .wps with Word using gp?
