Seagate Replica corrupted

A trojan horse got through Avast and my firewall, and apparently got into my
Seagate Replica constant backup. We eliminated the trojan horse from my
computer, but apparently not from the Seagate. In order to open files, or to
attach files to emails, I have to unplug the USB connection to Seagate, then
plug it back in again. I would like to wipe the Seagate drive and start over
with the backup, but I do not know how to do it.

The requests are pings (ICMP[8]) to sl2XX.avast.com, where X varies from 09 to 14 (and probably 126.203.67-72. There was also one to sl205.avast.com (75.126.130.172). The firewall lists the application firewall to all outgoing pings? What is the impact on Avast functionality or updatability if I don't? Windows Server WSUS 3 - replica server fails to replicate approved updates Hi All We've recently made one of our servers a replica and enabled rollup reporting, but even though I cannot approve updates on the replica (grayed out) it has significantly different amount of approved updates. Master has 1K+ the replica only 400 or so. Also I am not convinced that sync log shows sync failures (detailed error below). But the replica can connect to the master with no problem. Have tested simpleauthwebservice / simpleauth.asmx https: / / compname:ourport / SelfUpdate / wuident.cab The replica can clearly coms with the master but it still fails a natural artifact of converting an autonomous server to a replica: [a] The former autonomous server keeps all of the approvals do not exist on the upstream server. Windows Server Install Avast as administrator, full functionality as power user? Is anyone aware of any issues with installing the Avast antivirus home edition as administrator, then mostly operating under a admin), which may result in unexpected curtailment of functionality when Avast is installed as admin, but the PC is used under switched my account to normal user. Supposing I was install Avast as admin. No problem with avast during many years. Hi, Poutnik, When you say "supposing [you admin" do you mean that you suspect that you installed Avast ad admin? In article <0327c0fd-bcc5-4605-9caa- 3f57e0715bdc@u3g2000hsc if necessery, doing common installs as PU. But I suppose avast does not allow you install itself as PU ( but not administrator account and I was able to do a manual Avast update with the power user account. As you might have guessed, I didn't attempt an uninstall. Avast has a good forum: http: / / forum avast.com / . Thanks. I will check it out for this question
