Windows Server - Large amount of keys generated in Crypto\RSA\MachineKeys\

Hi,
We have a machine of Windows 2003 server + sp2 + IIS6 in production.
We notice a lot of generated keys (about 300 000) in the directory :
Data\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA\MachineKeys\" which makes backup impossible.
Can we delete all the keys safely?
Or should we keep some of keys to keep IIS 6 working? Which ones should
we keep?
Thank you in advance
Don

Starting Win2000 from the C: Prompt Windows Server Starting Win2000 from the C: Prompt Windows98 can be started from the C: Prompt and Win2000 dual booting. I can select at bootup either the C: prompt (Dos), or Windows 2000. To load Win98 I just type "win". Yet to start Win2000, I always have any way to start Win2000 from the C: prompt? Certificate Web Enrollment Permission Errors Windows Server I cannot get into the web enrollment page (Certsrv) on the server that has OK. I did not install this CA and is possible that it was installed before IIS. This would mean that "certutil -vroot" would need to be run. How can I tell ahead and run certutil -vroot and not damage the CA or server OS? - - Security Discussions IIS (1) Microsoft.windows.server.security (1) Certsrv (1) Certutil (1) Admins (1) Vroot (1) Try posting such questions in microsoft.windows.server.security newsgroup instead. keywords: Certificate, Web, Enrollment, Permission, Errors description: I cannot get into the
