Windows Server - Problem with web console display

Asked By pri325 on 30-Aug-07 12:56 PM
I have installed operations manager and it is working fine except for the web
management console. When you open the page it displays the same looks as the
Ops Manager console but many of the pictures and links are replaced with a
red x or an empty box. Looks like it is trying to run some type of Active X
or some other requirement that may be blocked. I am running Internet
Explorer 7, is there something required that I am missing?

Hi pri3257,

You can copy those files form a machine that has Operations Manger 2007 Console
installed, so install only the console on a mchine that you will use as a
management workstation later.

I don't understand your post, what files???

So I am missing files from the management server. Is this something you
have to do on all installs of operations manager?
So install the console on another machine then copy certain files over to
the server?
Do you have any more detail?

Thanks, how do I get to this newsgroup. It is not a webpage is it, do I need
special software to enter?
