Windows Server - ISA 2006 Logging to MSDE

Asked By char on 07-May-10 05:08 PM
Hi,

I changed ISA 2006 logging from MSDE to W3C however ISA is still logging
into MSDE. How can I stop logging into MSDE besides removing MSDE from
add/remove program?

Thanks

Only if you want to trash the ISA.

There is more than one Service to change to File Based. If you only change
one then the other will keep logging to MSDE.

I am not sure if you have to fully reboot the ISA to get it to take effect or
not,....but do *not* screw up the MSDE installation while ISA is still
trying to log to it,...nor would I try to remove the MSDE even after you are
not logging to it. Even if you do not use the MSDE just leave it
there,..leave it be.
