Windows Server - ISA 2004 not able to set SMTP server to setup notification

Hi,
I am not able to configure notification (SMTP server) in scheduled reports,
what i have done so far was given the SMTP server and one "FROM" Email ID,
one "TO" email ID but when i press Test button it throughs one error that is

Hi,
is ISA member of the domain and you use an internal Exchange Server? or is
the Server an Server outside the organisation?

Yes Jens the ISA 2004 server is very much on the domain and we are using
Internal Exchange server 2003 which is in our office Premises
