MCSE 2003 certification...

Asked By Brad Pears

I know this is not a specific question for this news group but since many of
the folks replying here most likely have either this or similar
certification, I hope you don;t mind me asking this question here. I am
looking to get my MCSE 2003 certification even though MS has changed
everything and the newest cert is the MCITP etc... There are still many
good reasons to get the MCSE 2003 (that is what our shop is) and I can
always do the upgrade courses to server 2008 anyway... MCSE is still a well
respected certification regardless of the fact that MS has basically gotten
rid of it.

My question is this... There are many schools/ training companies etc...
that offer the MCSE cert online (online learning is the only possibility
because of where I live) - some of which are most likely better than others.
Has anyone here got their MCSE cert using online curriculum and if so who
could you recommend? Even if you have not got the MCSE I would appreciate
any recommendations. I was about ready to sign up with QuickCert but then
got spooked after reading some bad press...

Thanks!
Brad

You'd be much better posting to the SBS 2003 NG at =
microsoft.public.windows.server.sbs or even just leave off the SBS

There are also Microsoft Newsgroups regarding certification and =
training.

With that said I did my MCP for Windows 95 all self study and passed the =
first time.
Microsoft Press has complete self study kits
Exam Cram and Self Test Software are the other two biggies in the field
