What is the difference between a server and the other computers connected to
it?

A server is a computer with the proper specifications to be called that as

A server is a computer with the proper specifications to be called that as
opposed to workstation specifications. It will run a true server OS such as
Windows Server 2008 or Small Business Server 2008.
