being a total dilattante, i hope you are not going to dress me down
for this question: a few days ago i was given a public IP by my ISP.
After I reinstalled my system (Win XP), it seems to me i don=B4t have my
public ip anymore. What settings do I have to do? Is it possible that
reinstalling and/or disconecting the LAN cable (which I actually also
did) can cause this?
Thanks for any help
Pavel

With XP you can only have 1 session running and the desktop becomes locked if someone connects a teminal server although it does allow remote desktop. The functionality is built in to XP and not related to having a terminal server on the network. James. - - James Yeomans, BSc
