Hi,

Regarding licenses, is it possible to purchase an upgrade from sbs 2000 to
sbs 2003 r2 even if the original sbs 2000 is in english and we want the sbs
2003 to be french? I am just talking about the licenses, not the way to do it.

Thanks
Microso

Windows Server Cannot join my W2K8 server to my sBS 2003 R2 domain I'm trying to join a Windows 2008 server to a SBS 2003 R2 domain. The SBS 2003 R2 server is fully patched and up to date including KB926505 which needs to be applied according to MS to join a W2K8 server to a SBS 2003 domain. I am on the SBS network as I can ping the SBS server as well am able to pass through the proxy for internet access. The error to join this server to the domain? Please run an IPCONFIG / all from both the SBS server and the Win2k8 = server and post here Be sure to identify which is which. - - = 20 Cris Hanna [SBS - MVP] Co-Contributor, Windows Small Business Server 2008 Unleashed http: / / www.amazon.com / Windows-Small
Windows Server Setting a test environment for SBS 2003 R2. Questions regarding router configurations. I'm setting up a test environment for SBS 2003 R2 Premium to be used as SBS 2003 R2 and then later upgraded to SBS 2008. The upgrade is not in question right now. In my production SBS 2003 SP1 (not R2) Premium here is my network configuration. First of all. SBS 2003 Premium (all versions) with ISA is secure. There is nothing insecure about ISA in SBS 2003, and that's not why we removed it from running on SBS. We are not allowing ISA to be installed *on SBS in Cougar for a number of reasons 1) the implementation cost was far too great from a legal perspective) *must* increase. We are doing everything we can to provide standard SBS at that same low price so all small business have a hope in centralized management
